Luke 21:5/36
Jesus and the disciples were on the Mount of Olives where they could see the beauty of the buildings of the temple. While the disciples were talking about the grandeur of the building, Jesus revealed to them that the temple in the future must be totally destroyed, so, they immediately thought it must be the end of time. After all, Jerusalem without the temple must to be the end of the world to them. But Jesus was prophesying about the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD, when more than one million people died and the few survivors were dispersed to other nations.
Jesus kept talking and at the same time that he answered their question about the signs of the End, he also talked about their own future with persecution and death for the faith.
Vs 8 / 11 - end of time; 12/19 - the future of the apostles with suffering and persecution; 20/24 - destruction of Jerusalem and 25/33 - end of time and the triumphant return of Jesus.
As has already fulfilled the prophecies of Jesus on the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple, the dispersion of Jews to other nations and the suffering and death of the disciples for their faith, also currently are fulfilling the prophecies of Jesus about the signs of the End. "hey’re just signs! No fear", he said, "when wars, great earthquakes, tsunamis and pandemics begin to happen will be not still the end of time, but will be signs that the end is close and My return as well".
Vs 34/36 - The great warning for us:
34"Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap. 35 For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth. 36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."
The great warning of Jesus is not about the signs; it is about our way of life in the end times. We must be careful that our heart is in God and not only in the world, and we must pray for we can escape the evil that will grow the closer we are of the end.
Sanctified life and prayer until the end!

SINAIS DO FIM - O grande alerta
Lucas 21:5/36
Jesus e os discípulos estavam no Monte das Oliveiras, de onde podiam ver a beleza dos edifícios do templo. Enquanto os discípulos estavam falando sobre a grandeza da construção, Jesus revelou-lhes que o belíssimo templo, no futuro, seria totalmente destruído; eles, imediatamente, pensaram que seria o fim dos tempos. Afinal, Jerusalém sem o templo seria o fim do mundo para eles. Mas Jesus estava profetizando sobre a destruição de Jerusalém em 70 d.C., quando mais de uma milhão de pessoas morreram e as poucas sobreviventes foram dispersas para outras nações.
Jesus continuou falando e, ao mesmo tempo em que respondeu à pergunta deles sobre os sinais do fim, também falou sobre o futuro deles com perseguição e morte pela fé.
Vs 8 / 11 – o fim dos tempos; 12/19 – o futuro dos apóstolos com sofrimento e perseguição; 20/24 - destruição de Jerusalém; e, 25/33 - Fim dos tempos e o retorno triunfante de Jesus.
Como já se cumpriram as profecias de Jesus sobre a destruição de Jerusalém e do templo, a dispersão dos judeus para outras nações e o sofrimento e morte dos discípulos por sua fé, também hoe já estão se cumprindo as profecias de Jesus sobre os sinais do fim do tempo. "São apenas sinais do fim; não tenham medo", ele disse, "ainda não será o fim quando houver guerras, grandes terremotos, tsunamis e pandemias. Quando tudo isso começar a acontecer serão sinais de que o fim está próximo e o Meu retorno também".
Vs 34/36 – O grande alerta para nós:
34: "Tenham cuidado para não sobrecarregarem o coração de vocês de libertinagem, bebedeira e ansiedades da vida, e, aquele dia venha sobre vocês inesperadamente. 35. Porque ele virá sobre todos os que vivem na face da terra. 36. Estejam sempre atentos e orem para que vocês possam escapar de tudo o que está para acontecer, e, estar em pé diante do Filho do Homem”.
O grande alerta de Jesus não é sobre os sinais, mas sobre a nossa forma de viver nos tempos do fim.
Temos de ter cuidado para que o nosso coração esteja em Deus e não no mundo apenas, e, devemos orar para que possamos escapar do mal que irá crescer quanto mais perto estivermos do fim.

NOAH’S FAMILY WILL BE SAVED
The Creator was totally disappointed with his creation. At that time, God judged and condemned human beings. Exception: one family. Noah’s.
“Now the earth was corrupt in God's sight and was full of violence. God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. So God said to Noah, "I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. So, make yourself an ark of cypress ...” Gn 6:11/14
God had decided to restart human history from the descendants of a person: Noah.
Why God was not disappointed with Noah?
What God had seen in Noah and he did not see in other people?
“…Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God”. Gn 6:9
Even living among the corrupt people of his time, Noah walked with God and had characteristics of his Creator. He was a righteous and blameless man.
Although living in a generation full of violence, corruption, dishonesty, selfishness etc., Noah walked with God and still had something of the divine nature himself. So God wanted all the humans to be his descendants since then. The children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Noah should maintain his lifestyle.
But ... the time went by ...
Nowadays, we are living terrible days again.
Nowadays, the heart of God hurts again, and our hearts should also hurt when we see those that were created to be the image of God on earth acting like animals or worse than animals.
The apostle Paul said to Timothy:
“But mark this: there will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God”. 2Tm3:1/4
Nowadays, in the midst of this evil world, God wants us to be like Noah: righteous and blameless people. But we can only be so if we walk with God as Noah did.
We were all created in the image and likeness of God, and the more we walk with God more that image is restored in us, but the more we walk away from God more that image is damaged in us, until not being human.
The Bible says (Cl 1:15) that Jesus is the image of the invisible God. So Noah was similar to Jesus Christ.
The theologians say that Noah is a type of Christ in the Old Testament.
• Through Noah, a group of people has been saved - his family;
• Through Jesus Christ, a group of people has been saved: his family.
God is building another ark to the final judgment. And again it will only enter there one family: Jesus’ family - those people who were punished on the cross with Jesus Christ; those ones who repented of their sins and walk with God in the midst of a corrupt and perverse generation.
Jesus Christ said:
“As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. (Mt 24:37/39)
Are you a member of God’s family already?

A FAMILIA DE NOÉ SERÁ SALVA
O Criador estava totalmente decepcionado com sua criação. Naquela época, Deus julgou e condenou os seres humanos. Exceção: uma família. A família de Noé.
“Ora, a terra estava corrompida aos olhos de Deus e cheia de violência.
Ao ver como a terra se corrompera, pois toda a humanidade havia corrompido a sua conduta, Deus disse a Noé: darei fim a todos os seres humanos, porque a terra encheu-se de violência por causa deles. Eu os destruirei com a terra.
Você, porém fará uma arca de madeira...”. Gn 6:11/14
Deus tinha decidido reiniciar a história humana a partir dos descendentes de uma pessoa: Noé.
Por que Deus não estava desapontado com Noé?
O que Deus viu em Noé que não viu nas outras pessoas?
“Esta é a história da família de Noé: Noé era homem justo, íntegro, entre o povo da sua época; ele andava com Deus. Gn 6:9
Embora vivendo entre os corruptos do seu tempo, Noé andava com Deus e ainda apresentava características do seu Criador. Ele era um homem justo e integro.
Vivendo no meio de uma geração cheia de violência, corrupção, desonestidade, egoísmo etc., Noé andava com Deus e mantinha ainda em si algo da natureza divina. Então, Deus queria que todos os seres humanos fossem seus descendentes a partir de então. Os filhos, netos e bisnetos de Noé deveriam manter seu estilo de vida. Mas... o tempo passou...
Hoje, estamos vivendo dias terríveis novamente.
Hoje, o coração de Deus dói mais uma vez, e, nosso coração deveria doer também quando vemos aqueles que foram criados para ser a imagem de Deus na terra parecendo com animais, ou pior que animais.
O apóstolo Paulo disse a Timóteo:
“Saiba disto – nos últimos dias sobrevirão tempos terríveis (selvagens). Os homens serão egoístas, avarentos, presunçosos, arrogantes, blasfemos, desobedientes aos pais, ingratos, ímpios, sem amor pela família, irreconciliáveis, caluniadores, sem domínio próprio, cruéis, inimigos do bem, traidores, precipitados, soberbos, mais amantes dos prazeres do que amigos de Deus” 2Tm3:1/4
No meio deste mundo mau, Deus deseja que sejamos como Noé: justos e íntegros. Mas, nós só podemos ser assim se caminharmos com Deus, como Noé fez.
Todos nós fomos criados à imagem e semelhança de Deus, e quanto mais andamos com Deus mais essa imagem está sendo restaurada em nós, porém, quanto mais caminhamos longe de Deus mais essa imagem é deteriorada em nós, até não sermos mais humanos.
A Bíblia diz (Cl 1:15) que Jesus Cristo é a imagem do Deus invisível. Então, Noé se parecia com Jesus Cristo.
Os teólogos dizem que Noé é um "tipo de Cristo" no Antigo Testamento.
• Através de Noé, um grupo de pessoas foi salvo - sua família;
• Através de Jesus Cristo, um grupo de pessoas será salvo: sua família.
Deus está construindo outra arca para o juízo final. E nela novamente só vai entrar uma família: a família de Jesus. Aqueles que foram punidos na cruz com Jesus; aqueles que se arrependeram dos seus pecados e caminham com Deus no meio de uma geração corrompida e perversa.
Jesus Cristo disse:
“Como foi nos dias de Noé, assim também será na vinda do Filho do homem. Pois nos dias do Dilúvio, o povo vivia comendo e bebendo, casando-se e dando-se em casamento, até o dia em que Noé entrou na arca; e eles nada perceberam, até que veio o Dilúvio e os levou a todos. Assim acontecerá na vinda do Filho do homem”. Mt 24:37/39

GRACE
The apostle Paul starts all his 13 letters of the Bible with the same greeting: "Grace and peace from God, our Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ ..."
For him, Grace comes firstly, and then comes peace. Because he had found out that one may have everything, including a sincere religion, may do everything right, but if he does not have the grace of God has nothing!
Only God’s grace can bring the true peace.
What is grace?
Grace is simply to give love to those who do not deserve to be loved.
Paul was a killer and a persecutor of the early Christians. The first martyr of the church was killed with his approval. So, he was very grateful to God for the grace of his salvation and his missionary calling.
In the first letter to the Corinthians he says:
“I am the least important of all the apostles. In fact, I caused so much trouble for God's church that I don't even deserve to be called an apostle. But God was kind! He made me what I am, and his wonderful kindness wasn't wasted. I worked much harder than any of the other apostles, although it was really God's kindness at work and not me.” (15:9/10)
It is the same with us today. We are saved by grace, and, all we can do now is by grace too.
But, sometimes, we forget that everything is God’s grace.
For example:
1. We may think that, since we are saved, we are better than others. But, in fact, the only difference among us is the grace;
2. We may think that, since we are obedient, we do everything like God wants, then we deserve blessings. And we may charge of God when He does not do what we want, as if He had an obligation. But God does not owe anything to anyone; on the contrary, we owe Him all respect and gratitude for his amazing grace.
3. We may think that now we have to do everything right all the time to maintain our salvation (to deserve it!). But it is impossible to do everything right.
Luther had been isolated from the world in a monastery to avoid the sin. Until he had to say: “there’s no way to escape from the world because the world is inside me!”
We are being transformed day by day for God. but we are still sinners. We are "under construction". The Bible shows us who we are: hypocritical, proud, envious, liars, gossipy, vengeful, arrogant, selfish, fearful, lascivious, but as we have difficulty in seeing these sins, God allows us to see who we are in order to us repent and to be forgiven by Him.
Paul said: “Now there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus ... those who walk according to the Spirit”. (Rm 8:1)
Do you feel guilty or charged because of your sins?
Be repented, abandon the sin and receive the grace, the forgiveness of God. So, enjoy the peace and serve God with the gifts He has given you.
The only thing Jesus is waiting for now is that you distribute the grace that you have received.
You and I must to give love to those who do not deserve to be loved. The people outside are waiting to see the grace of God in us. And Jesus wants to be seen through the Christians.
So it is the same inside the Church. We must give grace to our brothers and sisters when they fall… as we want to receive the grace from them when we fall.
The grace we receive from God daily must to be distributed.
Are you doing this?

O apóstolo Paulo começa todos as suas 13 cartas da Bíblia com a mesma saudação: "Graça e paz de Deus Pai e de Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo..."
Para ele, graça vem em primeiro lugar e, em seguida, vem a paz. Porque ele descobriu que alguém pode ter tudo, incluindo uma religião sincera, pode fazer tudo certo, mas se não tiver a graça de Deus não tem nada!
Só a graça de Deus pode trazer a verdadeira paz.
O que é graça?
Graça é simplesmente dar amor para aqueles que não merecem ser amados.
Paulo foi assassino e perseguidor dos primeiros cristãos. O primeiro mártir da Igreja foi morto com a sua aprovação. Então, ele era muito grato a Deus pela graça de sua salvação e por seu chamado missionário.
Na primeira carta aos Coríntios ele diz:
"Eu sou o menos importante de todos os apóstolos. Na verdade, eu causei tantos problemas para a igreja de Deus que eu não mereço ser chamado de apóstolo. Mas Deus foi bondoso. Sou o que sou pela graça de Deus; e sua maravilhosa bondade não foi desperdiçada. Eu trabalhei muito mais difícil do que qualquer dos outros apóstolos, embora tenha sido realmente a graça de Deus no trabalho e não eu". (15:9/10)
É o mesmo conosco hoje. Somos salvos pela graça, e, tudo o que fazemos agora é pela graça também.
Mas, às vezes, nos esquecemos de que tudo é graça de Deus.
Por exemplo:
1. Podemos pensar que, uma vez que somos salvos, somos melhores do que os outros. Mas, na verdade, a única diferença entre nós é a graça;
2. Podemos pensar que, uma vez que somos obedientes, fazemos tudo como Deus quer, então merecemos as bênçãos. E nós podemos cobrar de Deus quando Ele não faz aquilo que queremos, como se ele tivesse obrigação. Mas Deus não deve nada a ninguém, pelo contrário, nós é que Lhe devemos todo respeito e gratidão por sua maravilhosa graça.
3. Podemos pensar que agora temos de fazer tudo certo o tempo todo para manter a nossa salvação (para merecê-la!). Mas é impossível fazer tudo certo.
Lutero havia sido isolado do mundo em um mosteiro para evitar o pecado. Até que ele teve que dizer "não há como fugir do mundo porque o mundo está dentro de mim!"
Estamos sendo transformados dia a dia por Deus, mas somos ainda pecadores. Estamos "em obras". A Bíblia nos mostra quem somos: hipócritas, orgulhosos, invejosos, mentirosos, fofoqueiros, vingativos, arrogantes, egoístas, medrosos, lascivos, mas como temos dificuldade em ver esses pecados, Deus nos permite saber quem somos para que nos arrependamos e sejamos perdoados por Ele.
Paulo disse: "Agora não há nenhuma condenação para aqueles que estão em Cristo Jesus ... aqueles que caminham de acordo com o Espírito ". (Rm 8:1)
Você se sente culpado ou cobrado por causa de seus pecados?
Arrependa-se e abandone o pecado agora, então receba a graça, o perdão de Deus. Aproveite a paz e sirva a Deus com os dons que Ele lhe deu.
A única coisa que Jesus espera agora é que você distribua a graça que você recebeu.
Você e eu devemos dar amor para aqueles que não merecem ser amados.
Lá fora as pessoas querem ver a graça de Deus em nós.
Jesus quer ser visto através dos cristãos.
O mesmo acontece dentro da Igreja. Temos de dar graça para nossos irmãos e irmãs quando eles caem... Assim como queremos receber a graça da sua parte quando caímos.
A graça que recebemos de Deus diariamente deve ser distribuída.
Você está fazendo isso?
Para ele, graça vem em primeiro lugar e, em seguida, vem a paz. Porque ele descobriu que alguém pode ter tudo, incluindo uma religião sincera, pode fazer tudo certo, mas se não tiver a graça de Deus não tem nada!
Só a graça de Deus pode trazer a verdadeira paz.
O que é graça?
Graça é simplesmente dar amor para aqueles que não merecem ser amados.

CRAZINESS OF GOD
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate."
Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.
Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.

Pois a mensagem da cruz é loucura para os que estão morrendo, mas para nós, que estamos sendo salvos, é o poder de Deus. Pois está escrito: “Destruirei a sabedoria dos sábios e rejeitarei a inteligência dos inteligentes”. Onde está o sábio? Onde está o erudito? Onde está o questionador desta era? Acaso não tornou Deus loucura a sabedoria deste mundo? Visto que, na sabedoria de Deus, o mundo não O conheceu por meio da sabedoria humana, agradou a Deus salvar aqueles que crêem por meio da loucura da pregação. Os judeus pedem sinais miraculosos e os gregos procuram sabedoria; nós, porém, pregamos a Cristo crucificado, o qual, de fato, é escândalo para os judeus e loucura para os gentios, mas para os que foram chamados, tanto judeus como gregos, Cristo é o poder de Deus e a sabedoria de Deus. Porque a loucura de Deus é mais sábia que a sabedoria humana, e a fraqueza de Deus é mais forte que a força do homem.

THREE CROSSES
Jesus Christ and two men are carrying their crosses through the streets of Jerusalem toward Mount Calvary. Three men. Two criminals, an innocent, are going to the death penalty.
What do I see? A picture of the whole humanity.
All human beings (the two criminals) are born, grow and die, each one carrying his life story and his sins on the back. God is among them (Jesus Christ), pure and holy, but most do not understand, and go on living their life toward death, not realizing that God is on their side.
Most do not realize that Jesus Christ is really God who became man to die as man, and that on the cross - only on his cross - is the life not the death - eternal.
Jesus is among us, whether you realize it or not.
Three sentenced to death, each one hung on his own cross.
Two of them- crime: thieves (Mt 27:38, Mk 15:27)
One of them- crime: saying that he is the king of the Jews.
On the way to Mount Calvary, Jesus was seen by the two thieves being despised, humiliated, spitting and hurt by the majority of the population, and also they saw Jesus being nailed to the cross.
The reactions of the two thieves:
1 - Hanging on the cross, bleeding, on the verge of death, next to the Savior, acted as the majority of people in that day: sarcastically.
- Are you the Christ? Why don’t you save yourself? And save us too!
2 - Hanging on the cross, bleeding, on the verge of death, next to the Savior, acted completely different from the majority and said to the other thief:
- You do not fear God even being on his side at the time of death?
- You do not realize that he is dying without any guilt? He did nothing to deserve death on the cross!
- You do not regret even being on the side of God?
And to Jesus, he said:
- Jesus, remember me when come in your kingdom.
The first one said - "save us", sarcastically. And Jesus responded nothing. For him there was no promise, no hope. He died carrying his sins, which will still be punished by God ...
The second one said – “save me”. And Jesus promised paradise after death and his presence. God will not charge him anything because Jesus already paid.
The birth of Jesus divided the History in: AC and DC; His death divided the humanity in: rebellious sinners, without God; and repentant sinners with God.
Since that day everyone has to choose on which cross is going to die. And the limit to choose is the cross. The Bible doesn’t give possibility for salvation after death.
All human beings are going to death; the difference is how each one will address it. Believing that Jesus is his Savior or not.

TRÊS CRUZES
Jesus Cristo e dois homens estão carregando suas cruzes pelas ruas de Jerusalém em direção ao Monte Calvário. Três homens. Dois criminosos e um inocente estão indo para a pena de morte.
O que eu vejo? Um retrato de toda a humanidade:
Todos os seres humanos (os dois criminosos) nascem, crescem e morrem, cada um carregando sua história de vida e seus pecados nas costas. Deus está entre eles (Jesus Cristo), puro e santo, mas a maioria não percebe e segue a vida em direção à morte, nem sequer notando que Deus está do seu lado.
A maioria não acredita que Jesus Cristo é verdadeiramente Deus que se fez homem para morrer como homem e que na cruz – somente na sua cruz – está a vida e não a morte - eterna.
Jesus está entre nós, quer você perceba ou não.
Três condenados à morte, cada um pendurado na sua própria cruz.
Dois deles - crime: ladrões (Mt 27:38, Mc 15:27)
Um deles - crime, dizer que ele é o rei dos judeus.
No caminho para o Monte Calvário, Jesus foi visto pelos dois ladrões sendo desprezado, humilhado, cuspido e machucado pela maioria da população, e também viram Jesus ser pregado na cruz.
As reações dos dois ladrões:
1 - Pendurado na cruz, sangrando, à beira da morte, ao lado do Salvador, agiu como a maioria das pessoas naquele dia, sarcasticamente.
“Você é o Cristo? Por que você não vai salvar você mesmo? E salvar-nos também”!
2 - Pendurado na cruz, sangrando, à beira da morte, ao lado do Salvador, agiu completamente diferente da maioria e disse para o outro ladrão:
“Você não teme Deus mesmo estando ao seu lado no momento da morte? Você não percebe que ele está morrendo sem qualquer culpa? Ele não fez nada para merecer a morte na cruz. Você não se arrepende mesmo estando do lado de Deus?”
E a Jesus, disse:
“Jesus, lembre-se de mim quando entrar em seu reino”.
O primeiro disse - "salva-nos", sarcasticamente, e Jesus não respondeu nada. Para ele, não houve promessa, nem esperança. Ele morreu carregando seus pecados, que ainda serão punidos por Deus ...
O segundo disse - "salva-me" com sinceridade, e Jesus lhe prometeu o paraíso após a morte e sua presença. Deus não vai lhe cobrar mais nada porque Jesus já pagou tudo.

THE BEGINNING
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth… and the human being.
In the beginning man and woman were created by God as his own image and likeness (Genesis 1 and 2).
So, you and I deserve respect, but, you and I must to respect every person on the earth, because all of us were created by God in his own image.
God took the dust of the ground and formed the human being. All the other wonderful creations of God were made with God’s “word”, like: let there be light; let the land produce; let the birds fly above the earth, etc, but the human being was created by God’s “hands”. Then, God breathed into him the breath of life, and the human being became a living being.
Just think. "We are the unique creatures made by the Creator who have his fingerprint."
We are all descendants of Adam and Eve. And when God made us he had the same model: himself.
God’s desire was that the first couple’s descendants also had reflected his image on the earth. So, that first couple and their descendants should govern all the nature as God would do.
That was the original design of God to human beings. And still is. But, because of Adam and Eve’s sin, the image of God was too distorted in the human race that we barely manage our own lives, how we could do to the land and nature?
Everything that has God created fulfills its function: the animals and plants feed the people; the waters give life to vegetation and satiate the thirst of people, animals and plants; the birds sing and praise the Creator; the flowers beautify the roads, houses and churches. But men and women only fulfill their function on the earth when they reflect the image of their Creator.
How can we get that?
The Bible says (Cl 1:15): Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God. So, today we have a visible model to follow - the unique perfect man.
Jesus loved the nature. He spoke about the beauty that the Creator had given to the lilies of the field; about the grain of mustard; he spoke of rivers and water sources of living; and more. But above the nature, however, Jesus loved and gave respect to the people created at the image and likeness of God. Like him, we should be.
He loved the Jewish and the foreigner; rich and poor; healthy and sick; adult and child. Jesus loved sinners despite their sins, because he saw in them the image of God, and Jesus wanted to (and still wants) see God’s image restored in them.
Do you want to have in yourself God's image restored?
Just believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior and this will be your own beginning.

O PRINCÍPIO
No princípio, Deus criou os céus e a terra ... e o ser humano. Homem e mulher foram criados por Deus à sua própria imagem e semelhança (Gênesis 1 e 2).
Por isso, eu e você merecemos respeito, mas, eu e você temos que respeitar todas as pessoas na terra, porque todos nós fomos criados por Deus à sua imagem.
Deus tomou do pó da terra e formou o ser humano. Todas as outras maravilhosas criações de Deus foram formadas com a “palavra” de Deus, como: que haja luz; que a terra produza; que os pássaros voem acima da terra, etc., mas o ser humano foi feito pelas “mãos” de Deus. Então, Deus soprou nele o fôlego de vida e o ser humano se tornou um ser vivo.
Apenas pense.
"Nós somos as únicas criaturas feitas pelo Criador que têm sua impressão digital."
Somos todos descendentes de Adão e Evae, e, quando fomos feitos por Deus ele tinha o mesmo modelo: ele próprio.
O desejo de Deus era que os descendentes do primeiro casal também refletissem sua imagem na terra. Assim, o primeiro casal e seus descendentes deveriam governar toda a natureza como Deus o faria.
Esse foi o desenho original de Deus para os seres humanos. E ainda é. Mas, por causa do pecado de Adão e Eva a imagem de Deus foi tão distorcida na raça humana que nós mal governamos nossas próprias vidas, como poderíamos governar a terra e a natureza?
Tudo o que Deus criou cumpre sua função: os animais e a vegetação alimentam as pessoas; as águas dão vida à vegetação e saciam a sede das pessoas, animais e plantas; os pássaros cantam e louvam ao Criador; as flores embelezam as estradas, casas e igrejas. Porém, homens e mulheres só cumprem sua função na terra quando refletem a imagem de seu Criador.
Como podemos conseguir isso?
A Bíblia diz (Cl 1:15): Jesus Cristo é a imagem do Deus invisível. Temos um modelo visível a seguir: o único homem perfeito.
Jesus amava a natureza. Ele falou sobre a beleza que o Criador deu aos lírios do campo; sobre o grão de mostarda; sobre rios e fontes de água viva, e muito mais. Mas, acima da natureza, no entanto, Jesus amava e respeitava as pessoas criadas à imagem e semelhança de Deus. Tal como ele, nós devemos ser.
Ele amava os judeus e os estrangeiros, ricos e pobres, sãos e doentes, adultos e crianças. Jesus amava os pecadores, apesar dos seus pecados, porque ele via neles a imagem de Deus, ainda que distorcida, e Jesus queria (e ainda quer) ver a imagem de Deus restaurada neles.
Você quer ter a imagem de Deus restaurada em você? Basta crer em Jesus Cristo como seu único Salvador e este será o seu próprio princípio.
Por isso, eu e você merecemos respeito, mas, eu e você temos que respeitar todas as pessoas na terra, porque todos nós fomos criados por Deus à sua imagem.
Deus tomou do pó da terra e formou o ser humano. Todas as outras maravilhosas criações de Deus foram formadas com a “palavra” de Deus, como: que haja luz; que a terra produza; que os pássaros voem acima da terra, etc., mas o ser humano foi feito pelas “mãos” de Deus. Então, Deus soprou nele o fôlego de vida e o ser humano se tornou um ser vivo.
Apenas pense.
"Nós somos as únicas criaturas feitas pelo Criador que têm sua impressão digital."
Somos todos descendentes de Adão e Evae, e, quando fomos feitos por Deus ele tinha o mesmo modelo: ele próprio.
O desejo de Deus era que os descendentes do primeiro casal também refletissem sua imagem na terra. Assim, o primeiro casal e seus descendentes deveriam governar toda a natureza como Deus o faria.
Esse foi o desenho original de Deus para os seres humanos. E ainda é. Mas, por causa do pecado de Adão e Eva a imagem de Deus foi tão distorcida na raça humana que nós mal governamos nossas próprias vidas, como poderíamos governar a terra e a natureza?
Tudo o que Deus criou cumpre sua função: os animais e a vegetação alimentam as pessoas; as águas dão vida à vegetação e saciam a sede das pessoas, animais e plantas; os pássaros cantam e louvam ao Criador; as flores embelezam as estradas, casas e igrejas. Porém, homens e mulheres só cumprem sua função na terra quando refletem a imagem de seu Criador.
Como podemos conseguir isso?

MULTIPLYING
In Luke 19:11/26 we find the parable of the 10 mines.
Jesus and the apostles were arriving in Jerusalem. Jesus knew he would die there, but the apostles thought that he would be anointed King.
So, before entering city, Jesus explained with this parable that it was not the time to be the King. The apostles would have to understand the meaning. Did they understand? Did we really understand the message? Let’s see:
“A man of noble birth has left his land and traveled to a distant place to be crowned King. After crowned, the King returned to his land. But before going to the distant land the noble man had called to him a group of 10 servants and had given to each one a pound of something valuable that should be multiplied by them".
Matthew 25:14/28 (parable of the talents) tells the same story with some differences - each servant had received some larger or smaller portions, according to the ability of each one to administer.
In summary, in both parables, the group of servants stayed in the land waiting for the King, but all of them had to multiply what had received from Him.
Did we get the message?
1) What group of people Jesus left in the Earth waiting for his return like a King?
The Christians.
2) What Jesus gives to every person who believes him, and must be multiplied until he returns? The Salvation.
When Jesus comes back each one of us will have to deliverer to him our salvation multiplied.
Every apostle delivered multiplied his portion to Jesus, and you? Have you been multiplying yours?
In both parables, the majority of servants multiplied the mine or talent and delivered to the King, beyond the portion they received (ten or five times more; and the King gave them an award for that.
So, the ones who multiply their salvation will receive an award from God. He is really good. He does the work through us and he will reward us!
But, in both parables Jesus showed that it would be not easy to multiply because there was another group in the land that hated Him and that group said: we do not want this man be our king.
Jesus was saying, in other words: "It is exactly among those people that hate me where you must to multiply your Salvation. It will not be easy. There will be opposition. But you have a valuable mine with you, you have talent with you. I'm with you in Spirit. Trust me. You’ll reign with me on the nations when I come back. Some of you will increase more, others less, but all of you that multiply your salvation, making more disciples to me, will be rewarded for that. Wait for me, multiplying your salvation".
Will you be rewarded by God when Jesus comes back?

MULTIPLICANDO
Em Lucas 19:11/26, encontramos a parábola das 10 minas.
Jesus e os apóstolos estavam chegando a Jerusalém. Jesus sabia que ele iria morrer ali, mas os apóstolos pensavam que ele seria ungido Rei.
Então, antes que entrassem na cidade, com esta parábola Jesus explicou que ainda não era o tempo para ser Rei. Os apóstolos teriam de compreender o significado da estória. Será que eles entenderam? Será que nós realmente entendemos a mensagem? Vamos ver:
“Um homem de nobre nascimento deixou sua terra e viajou para um lugar distante para ser coroado rei. Depois de coroado, o rei voltou para sua terra. Mas antes de ir para a terra distante o nobre tinha chamado um grupo de 10 servos e tinha dado a cada um uma libra de algo precioso que deveria ser multiplicada por eles”.
Mateus 25:14 /28 (parábola dos talentos) conta a mesma estória com algumas diferenças - cada servo recebeu porções maiores ou menores de acordo com a capacidade de cada um para administrar.
Em resumo, nas duas parábolas, o grupo de servos ficou na terra à espera do Rei, mas todos eles tinham que multiplicar o que tinham recebido.
Será que captamos a mensagem?
1) Que grupo de pessoas Jesus deixou na Terra à espera de seu retorno como Rei?
Os cristãos.
2) O que Jesus dá a cada pessoa que crê nele e que deve ser multiplicado até que ele volte?
A Salvação.
Quando Jesus voltar, cada um de nós terá que lhe entregar a salvação multiplicada.
Cada apóstolo entregou a Jesus sua porção multiplicada.
Você tem multiplicado a sua?
Em ambas as parábolas, a maioria dos servos multiplicou a mina ou talento e entregou ao rei porções maiores do que tinha recebido (dez ou cinco). E o rei deu a cada um deles um prêmio por isso. Assim, os que multiplicam sua salvação serão premiados por Deus. Ele é realmente bom. É Ele quem faz o trabalho através de nós e vai nos recompensar!
Mas, nas duas parábolas Jesus mostrou que não seria fácil multiplicar porque havia na terra um outro grupo o odiava e que dizia: não queremos que este homem seja nosso rei.
Jesus estava dizendo, em outras palavras: "é justamente entre as pessoas que me odeiam onde vocês devem multiplicar sua salvação. Não vai ser fácil. Haverá oposição. Mas vocês têm uma valiosa mina em vocês, vocês têm talento em vocês. Eu estou com vocês em Espírito. Confiem em mim. Vocês reinarão comigo sobre as nações quando eu voltar. Alguns de vocês multiplicarão mais, outros menos, mas todos vocês que multiplicarem sua salvação, fazendo mais discípulos para mim, serão recompensados por isso. Esperem por mim, multiplicando sua salvação”.
Você será recompensado por Deus quando Jesus voltar?

This text is a comparison between athletes of the sports and athletes of God. The athletes of sports train hard to win a prize that will not last; the athletes of God should strive much more because their reward will last forever.
The Olympic athletes receive the crown of leaves; the athletes of God will receive the crown of eternal life.
Those who will receive the crown from the hands of God will never die again. Like Jesus did. He died and resurrected in the body and has already won his own crown. Jesus is the King of the universe. He’s the biggest winner of all times and entire universe.
There will be a great team receiving the prize in Heaven: the Church team. A team of millions of athletes, but each one will receive his own crown from the hands of God.
But, how can we reach God if we are sinners? How can we receive the crown of eternal life?
The Bible says there is only one way: with Jesus, the biggest winner. Only Jesus can make us win the race to God, which was died for three days and raised. The winners of the race of God will be the ones who believe that all their sins were paid for the death of Jesus on the cross and that he rose from the death.
Everybody is running toward God, but most of the people do not know, then they may lose the award.
Do you want to receive the crown of eternal life?
You must repent and have faith that Jesus paid for all your sins.
This is the unique way.

SAFETY DURING THE CRISIS
Psalm 91 was written during a great crisis of Jewish people.
It was written during the 40 years they were living in the desert, nevertheless it isn’t known who wrote it.
But surely it was written by someone who saw the opening of Red Sea; who saw the cloud protecting them from the sun in the daylight; the fire column lighting the night; and the Manna being served daily.
The psalmist knew God closely, and he knew that God take cares of his people.
So, when we read Psalm 91, the pictures show us great dangers surrounding the people of God, (human and spiritual dangers), but the psalmist sees God, the Almighty, watching over his people. God protects his children like the hen and the eagle protect theirs with the feathers of their wings.
God moves the Heaven and gives orders to the angels to protect their children.
(The angels protect us, but only God gives them orders).Only God knows when it is necessary that a supernatural miracle happens.
For thousands of years after they arrived in Israel, this Psalm was sung by the Israelites in the Temple in Jerusalem. By this way they could remind God's protection in crisis. Even during the Roman Empire, they sung, and they left the temple confident, happy and ready to face any situation because God was their refuge like in the past.
Are you not feeling confident because the crisis?
If you are a true Christian you live in the hideout of the Most High, Jesus Christ, you can be sure that all the promises of this Psalm are yours.

Mas, com certeza foi escrito por alguém que viu a abertura do Mar Vermelho, que viu a nuvem os protegendo do sol durante o dia, a coluna de fogo iluminando a noite e o Maná sendo servido diariamente.
O salmista conhecia Deus de perto, e ele sabia que Deus cuida do seu povo.
Assim, quando lemos Salmo 91, as imagens mostram-nos grandes perigos em torno do povo de Deus, (perigos humanos e espirituais), mas o salmista vê que Deus, o Todo-Poderoso, toma conta do seu povo. Deus protege seus filhos como a galinha e a águia protegem os delas sob as penas de suas asas.
Deus move o céu e dá ordens aos anjos para proteger os seus filhos. (Os anjos nos protegem, mas só Deus lhes dá ordens). Só Deus sabe quando é necessário que aconteça um milagre sobrenatural.
Por milhares de anos depois que chegaram a Israel, este salmo foi cantado pelos israelitas no Templo de Jerusalém. Assim eles podiam lembrar-se da proteção de Deus em meio à crise. Mesmo durante o Império Romano, eles cantavam e saíam do templo confiantes, felizes e prontos para enfrentar qualquer situação porque Deus continuava sendo o seu refúgio, como no passado.
Você não se sente confiante no meio da crise?
Se você é um verdadeiro cristão que vive no esconderijo do Altíssimo, Jesus Cristo, você pode ter certeza de que todas as promessas deste salmo são suas.

A TRUE CHRISTIAN
Zacchaeus was lost but he was found by Jesus. (Lk 19:1/10)
What happened to Zacchaeus was a miracle. When someone is saved, always it is the greatest miracle. Only Jesus can heal the soul. Only Jesus saves from the eternal death. And the miracle of salvation transforms the heart of ones who are saved.
Zaccheus became less rich after being a Christian, but he enriched other people.
The true Christian is transformed into his own heart, then he becomes others’ lives better than before.
Because now he has peace with God, he wants to have peace with others too.
Because God loves him, he wants to love other people too.
Because God has saved him, he wants that others be saved by God too.
Whatever if he is richer or poorer after Jesus Christ came into his life.
1. Does the life of people around you have changed to better after you became a Christian?
2. After God forgave your sins, do you forgive those who hurt you? And do you ask forgiveness for the people you have hurt?
3. The people who live with you are happier because you are a Christian?
If there is no change inside of you, and, the people around you do not perceive changes in your character and in your attitudes, you may still be on top of the tree, just trying to see Jesus.
If this is your situation, get off quickly of it, because Jesus wants to come to your home today.
What happened to Zacchaeus was a miracle. When someone is saved, always it is the greatest miracle. Only Jesus can heal the soul. Only Jesus saves from the eternal death. And the miracle of salvation transforms the heart of ones who are saved.
Zaccheus became less rich after being a Christian, but he enriched other people.
The true Christian is transformed into his own heart, then he becomes others’ lives better than before.
Because now he has peace with God, he wants to have peace with others too.
Because God loves him, he wants to love other people too.
Because God has saved him, he wants that others be saved by God too.
Whatever if he is richer or poorer after Jesus Christ came into his life.

Zaqueu estava perdido e foi achado por Jesus. (Lc 19:1/10)
O que aconteceu com Zaqueu foi um milagre. Sempre que alguém é salvo é o maior milagre. Só Jesus cura a alma. Só Jesus salva da morte eterna. E o milagre da salvação transforma o coração.
Zaqueu ficou menos rico depois que aceitou Jesus, mas ele enriqueceu a vida das outras pessoas.
O verdadeiro cristão é transformado no coração e a vida dos outros fica melhor por causa disso. Porque ele tem paz com Deus ele quer ter paz com as outras pessoas também. Porque Deus o perdoou ele quer perdoar as outras pessoas também. Porque Deus o ama ele quer amar as outras pessoas também. Porque Deus o salvou ele quer que outros sejam salvos. Independentemente se ele ficou mais rico ou mais pobre. Tanto faz.
1. A vida das pessoas à sua volta mudou para melhor depois que você se tornou cristão?
2. Depois que Deus perdoou os seus pecados, você perdoa as pessoas que te ferem? E pede perdão para as pessoas a quem você fere?
3. Quem convive com você é mais feliz porque você se tornou cristão?
Se não há mudança interior em você e as pessoas à sua volta não percebem mudança no seu caráter e nas suas atitudes, pode ser que você ainda esteja em cima da árvore...
Se este é o seu caso, desça depressa e se alegre porque hoje Jesus quer entrar na sua casa. Ele veio para buscar e salvar o que estava perdido.
